Espiritu Santo Island

Natural Protected Area and World Heritage of Humanity

Espiritu Santo Island has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2005 and a National Park since 2007.

In it you will find an impressive scenic beauty; the contrast between sea and desert, volcanic rock formations, numerous virgin beaches, as well as a great quantity of endemic flora and fauna.

On the island you can do different activities, including kayaking, sport fishing, hiking on its trails or stand up paddle board (SUP).

The National Park has more than 10 incredible points to practice snorkeling or diving, either in its natural reefs or visiting the sunken boats in its surroundings.

Live the experience of staying on the Island in some of its Glamping camps and remember to schedule your visit with one of our certified operators.

Currently Espiritu Santo Island can be visited with a permitted capacity of 40% of its capacity. We ask you to stay informed regarding the protocols and guidelines issued by CONANP, SEMARNAT and PROFEPA.

How to get there?

The boats, from small pangas to world-class yachts, depart from the marinas of La Paz or from the pier at the Malecon.

If you come from Los Cabos or Todos Santos there are tour operators that offer transportation or you can also rent a car and drive on your own to La Paz, where you can hire the services of a tourist provider.

Please Remember...

When you go to the island, make sure you hire an authorized operator. For this reason, we ask you to demand your bracelet to enter the Natural Protected Area.
