La Ventana and El Sargento, a rising destination for extreme sports
Between the months of November and April, this area is known for its wind currents that make it ideal for practicing kitesurfing throughout most of the day, thanks to the wind tunnel created between Cerralvo Island and the Sierra de La Laguna. In this Baja California Sur destination, you'll find several schools where you can learn the sport, rent your equipment, and enjoy incredible days on the beach while improving your skills.

A must-do experience in this area is visiting Rancho Cacachilas, which begins at their adventure hub on the main road. Here, you’ll learn more about the life of Baja California Sur ranchers, taste delicious artisanal cheeses, and discover the various sustainable processes they've implemented to make the most of natural resources.
