Cerralvo Island, one of the largest in the Sea of Cortez, is among the most breathtaking natural settings in Baja California Sur. Located just across from La Ventana and El Sargento, this island is surrounded by an intense turquoise blue that beautifully contrasts with its vast surface of over 135,000 hectares, making it the ninth largest island in Mexico.
Its rich biodiversity makes it a favorite destination for snorkeling and diving. Here you can encounter playful sea lions, majestic giant mantas, sea turtles, vibrant schools of tropical fish, and colorful coral reefs.
On land, the island is home to blue-footed boobies, a wide variety of seabirds, giant barrel cacti, and millenary cardón cactus.
Just to the north, the small islet La Reina offers one of the most privileged diving spots in Baja California Sur. Surrounded by abundant marine life and known for the presence of giant mantas, it is a top choice for both beginner and intermediate divers seeking an unforgettable underwater adventure.
